From WordPress to Coda: How "Less is More" Streamlined My Online Presence (and My Ego)

At the beginning of this month I posted that I was testing out Coda.io as a super fast and simple alternative to WordPress for the ManifestingGenerators.com website.
Well, I ended up moving the essentials across.
The header drop down menus take a while to load (the only real bug bear at this stage) but aside from that it's all I need.
The reason I went to WordPress in the first place was primarily because my undefined Ego wanted to "prove" itself with a professional looking website.
It wasn't until I started recognizing that an aligned text email, Google Doc, or Notion page was all that was needed to sell a product/service, I started the process of letting go of "proving" and embracing "less is more".
Here are a couple more reasons why I like Coda:
I can create unlimited "Docs" (similar to Workspaces in Notion) where each Doc contains unlimited pages. Therefore you can use Docs to serve different use cases. I use one for documenting my strategies and managing projects and Tasks list. I use two for websites, and others to test out isolated ideas.
By upgrading to the PRO account ($12 USD per month), I was able to connect one custom domain to each Doc. I now use one Doc for my ManifestingGenerators.com website, another Doc for my markjreynolds.com website. I also created subdomain and connected that to a Doc to function as a separate website.
I can setup automations for each Doc to either run on a schedule (i.e. Daily) or to run when triggered by a specific event.
I can setup automations in each table or even attach them to buttons to place anywhere. Coda truly is a playground for me to geek out in for all things efficiency!
If you would like to build a website but hate the "tech" and are bamboozled by all the options, I invite you to join the MG OS Beta Launch for $99 USD per month where Jenn Webber and I will: 1) Help you align with what your soul is calling you to do. 2) Help you understand how to practically apply your Human Design and Genius Report. 3) Hold you accountable to operate as per your design and in alignment with your soul's calling - week in, week out. 4) I'll be your tech wizard to help setup, organize, and streamline your business systems. Think of us as your partners in alignment and systems.
